(01) How it’s done
On the day
An hour in a wide-bore 3T scanner from head to thigh, including the brain. There is no radiation and no contrast injection.
You can listen to music, and the radiographer talks to you between sequences. Dr Adeyemi reads every scan himself.
(02) Why it matters
What it tells us
MRI finds tumours, aneurysms, organ changes and early disease in the brain that blood tests miss.
Most findings are reassuring or harmless. When something needs attention, we call you the same day and arrange a specialist within the week.
(03) Same system
Brain & sleep
Measured on the same day, read by the same physician.
