Illustrative ranges. Your physician sets yours.

(01) How it’s done
On the day
An ultrasound of the heart, the echocardiogram, done by our cardiac sonographer in the room next to the ECG.
The cardiologist who will see you at 15:00 reviews the images before your first reading, so you can ask about them in person.
(02) Why it matters
What it tells us
The echo shows the size of each chamber, the thickness of the walls, how the valves open and close, and how strongly the heart pumps.
It finds valve and muscle changes that blood tests cannot see, and it sets a baseline for every future scan.
(03) Same system
Heart & vessels
Measured on the same day, read by the same physician.
